I'd like to use FTP to upload my files to the personal webserver. What
information do I need to plug into my FTP program in order to upload it
properly?
The hostname you use varies. It depends on what your email address is. The
server names would be as follows:

The FTP username and password are the same username and password that you use
to log into your email account.
